Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for an Import - Export Manager (EPE, $2000, ID19966)
- Plan, organize, implement, and supervise all import and export activities related to raw materials, machinery, and finished goods supporting production and export operations.
- Manage and control all customs documentation and procedures, particularly for processing and export manufacturing types, including consumption norms management, customs liquidation reports, and customs finalization procedures.
- Oversee and strictly control the application process for Certificates of Origin (C/O) to ensure eligibility for preferential tariff treatment under Free Trade Agreements (FTAs).
- Handle various types of Certificates of Origin, including:
- Preferential C/O such as Form E, Form AANZ
- Specific C/O such as Form EUR.1
- Non-preferential C/O such as Form B and Form VN
- Review, verify, and manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure accuracy for customs declarations, raw material consumption calculation, and processing contract settlement.
- Coordinate and communicate directly with overseas customers, suppliers, logistics providers, customs authorities, and relevant government agencies.
- Monitor import-export costs, shipping schedules, and logistics performance to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency.
- Update and ensure compliance with customs laws, trade regulations, and Free Trade Agreements related to import and export activities.
- Lead and manage the Import Export team, assign tasks, supervise performance, and provide training when necessary.
- Prepare periodic reports related to import-export activities, customs settlement, and compliance status for management.
Requirement
- Male or Female, under 45 years old.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position within an Export Processing Enterprise (EPE) manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience in preparing and managing Certificate of Origin (C/O) documentation.
- Experience in preparing customs settlement and finalization reports.
- Proficient in either Chinese or English, with strong communication skills in all four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
